FibreGuard Pro
While the standard FibreGuard is known for its stain-free technology, the "Pro" version adds a crucial layer of protection: a breathable moisture barrier.
What makes it "Pro"?
The main difference lies in its multi-layered protection. Here are the core features:
- Moisture Barrier: A lightweight, flexible membrane is bonded to the back of the fabric. This prevents liquids (like water, coffee, or biological fluids) from soaking through the fabric and into the upholstery foam, which is where smells and mold usually start.
- Anti-microbial & Anti-bacterial: The fabric is treated to inhibit the growth of bacteria and micro-organisms by over 90%. This makes it a go-to for healthcare and aged-care facilities.
- Mildew & Odour Resistance: Because moisture can't get trapped in the internal padding and the fabric fights bacteria, it stays fresh and odour-free much longer than standard textiles.
- Woven-in Stain Resistance: Like all FibreGuard products, the stain resistance isn't just a spray-on coating; it’s applied at the fibre level of the yarn. This means you can clean it with just water and a little soap without "washing off" the protection.

FibreGuard Outdoor
FibreGuard Outdoor is the "adventure-ready" sibling in the FibreGuard family
Our trusted stain-resistant fabric, with added characteristics tailor made for outdoor use.
Why it's different from standard outdoor fabrics
Most outdoor fabrics rely on a surface coating that can wear off over time. FibreGuard Outdoor integrates its protection into the fibre itself.
- UV & Colour Fastness: These fabrics are solution-dyed or high-UV treated, meaning the colour goes all the way through the yarn. They won't bleach or fade even after thousands of hours in direct, harsh sunlight.
- Water Repellent: Water beads up and rolls off the surface. While it’s not "waterproof" in the way a submarine is, it resists saturation from rain and splashes.
- Mildew & Mould Resistance: Because it’s designed for humidity, the fibres are anti-microbial. This prevents that "musty" smell and the black spotting that usually happens when outdoor cushions get damp.
- Stain-Free Technology: Just like the indoor versions, you can clean mud, bird droppings, sunscreen, or red wine using just water and a bit of neutral soap.
Variety is the spice of life
We have a wide variety of fabrics for you to choose from. Each collection is the product of a long process of decisions, resulting in a fabric that's perfectly designed to fit your needs and style.
